Been feeling kind of poopy today. :(

I have just not been feeling that hot today. Been slightly nauseous all day, not a good feeling, it's almost as if I drank too much the night before, but I didn't. I started off this morning having a Carnation Instant Breakfast shake, set my timer, I didn't finish it, but I think I still might have sipped too quickly, then moved on to water, sipping...but I don't know, that's all I have gotten down. I try to make sure to get a couple sips of shake when I take my pain meds, wondering if that may be the problem. I called my Dr. and he asked if I wanted to come in, but honestly, that's the last thing I feel up to doing. I felt so good this morning, until around 10ish...
Ok. I am done whining for now. I think I will read some blogs, that will make me feel better :)

  2. Be patient with yourself and the journey! Also, complain away :) It's hard to adjust to and you're tummy's SO upset with you right now; you're definitely entitled to some whining time.

Congratulations on your banding, my dear.

You're beautiful, by the way :)

  3. It could possibly be the pain meds...they made me feel like a zombie! I tried to just take liquid tylenol during the day and the pain meds @ night. If your not in too much pain today give that a try!! Be patient, your body just went through a huge surgery and it's going to take time, but you'll get there!

  4. I was nauseous after surgery for a few days and it comes back for the few days after a fill. It could easily be the pain meds but it could also just be your stomach's way of telling you that it is kind of pissed at what you've done to it!

All I did the first week was whine, so don't feel bad about it! I hadn't thought of it till you said it, but the bandster nausea I have had does feel a lot like a hangover.

It gets better though, so hang in there!!

  5. They sent me home with a patch behind my ear and some pills to take for flare ups. Did you get any of that? The sea-sickness patches they sell at pharmacies are pretty similar if you're going through it all day.

And may I say, I had to come and browse your blog because I was surprised to see you say you were just banded. You are simply gorgeous with such a wonderful smile!

I really hope you feel better soon. :)

  8. Whine away! It is hard the first few days, no way around it. Just take it easy, keep taking the pain meds, and before you know it you will be as good as new.

Thanks for your comments on my blog!
